Thank you. My great grandfather's grandparents are Clarissa Elliott and Joshua Bowen Curtiss. Great grandpa Arthur wrote stories about his great grandmother, Polly Elliot. I went to the Beech Hill cemetery and found her headstone flat on the ground with a few others. Hers was the only one I could read, after I pulled the grass off of it.
I agree with you on trying to get as much supportive proof of information as possible. Finding the actual gravestone helped a lot. Finding Deborah Elliott's grave site online was helpful also. I hope to get to Segar Cemetery in the next few months and find her, too.
