Earnest was the son of William Henderson Elliott and Letitia Fleming. He was born in February 1915 and had an older brother also named William Henderson Elliott who lived in Vancouver Canada. Earnest lived in Amherst, New York and was a General Agent in the Pass Dept. for the Canadian National Railways. His wife was Sylvia M. and they had two children, genders unknown, born about 1957 and 1961 in the Buffalo area. In 1960 he resided in Amherst and worked at 13 Genessee Bldg.
