Ellis' that came on Brig Gomer from Wales in 1828 need help

Anyone with information about these Ellis would be greatly appreciated. all I have is some sketchy research done by a great aunt... showing Joseph and Laura Ellis b 1781, and 1783..... supposedly their children were Ellis, Robert David, Thomas, Ann, Elias and Ruth. All children were born in Wales the family settled in Whitestown NY.. supposedly Ellis, Robert and David came to America prior to 1828.
