Surnames: Ellis, Macay, Hopkins, Coggins
Seeking parents of [Virginia? Jane?] Jenny ELLIS who married 6 Feb 1819 in Rowan Co., NC, to Edward HOPKINS. Bondsman was Radford ELLIS. Edward was born in 1800, so presumably Jenny is about the same age. Is Radford her brother? Is Jenny a daughter of Radford ELLIS (Sr.) & Elizabeth MACAY of Rowan County?
Edward remarried 11 Oct 1825 in Rowan Co., NC, to Patience COGGINS, so presumably Jenny was deceased by 1825. Jenny had at least one child: Anderson HOPKINS (1820-1886), and the censuses indicate she may also have had a daughter, b. 1820-25. Edward is enumerated in the 1830-1860 censuses of Davidson Co., NC.
