Hi,

I am trying to contact descendants of Ben Franklin Scott and his wife, Monda Mae Ellis Scott, both born in Texas, or the descendants of Ray Alford Ellis, so that I may return a photo of Monda and Ray. I believe Monda's and Ray's parents were:
Father's Name: Ben A. Ellis
Mother's Name: Dura Huggins

Monda was born about 1927 and Ray was born in Tarrant County, Texas, in 1930.

I found a web site, THOSE WERE THE DAYS, for retired FAA employees when I Googled "Monda Scott". There is a photo at the bottom of Page 1 of the web site it pulled up, which has the following caption under it.
"Don Reininger thinks this picture was made at probably the very first FA Club function, 1962 in downtown Atlanta, a western theme dance. Pictured beginning on the left, clockwise: Ben Scott, the late Monda Scott, Lou Reininger, Ann Schroeder, Jim Moncus, the late Lilly Moncus, C.W. Hayes, Charles Schroeder, Don Reininger (front, right). In the very back, second from right, Mickey Hayes."

Monda is such an unusual name that I feel reasonably sure these are the correct people, especially when considering the birth records at the bottom of this e-mail.

The photo I have is of Monda Mae Ellis and her brother Ray Alford Ellis, taken about 1941. She was age 14 and he was age 11 at the time, or at least those are the ages my mother wrote on the photo. My mother is deceased and I don't know how she knew them or why she had the photo, but I do know it's her handwriting on it. My mother was born in 1916 and Monda was born in 1927, so they were not childhood friends. Perhaps their parents and my parents paths crossed in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station where my father worked from 1940 until 1952.

I would like to return the photo to Monda and Ray's children if I can track them down and see if they might know why my mother would have it by knowing where their parents lived. From Ancestry.com, I found Monda and Ben Franklin Scott's death record in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. I have the names of their children which I have listed below.

I also found Ray's death record showing that he died in Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., Texas in May 1989.

If anyone has any contact with or knows of any way to contact Monda's or Ray's descendats, would you please pass along my information since I would not expect you to give out their information.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration in this matter.

My research on Monda Mae (Ellis) Scott and Ben F. Scott showed the following 5 children born, all in Tarrant County, Texas
Joe Franklin Scott
Ben Franklin Scott, Jr.Charlotte Ann Scott
John Walter Scott
[There was one child born whose name was not shown in the birth records.]

I could only find one child born to Ray Alford Ellis: Vicki Leerae Yvonne Ellis, born in Midland County, Texas.

Any help will most appreciated.
