I am currently researching John Ellson b abt 1848 parents possible Edward Ellson and mother Elizabeth, he later married Charlotte Newlyn 22 Jan 1866 Pambula, NSW, their son John married Ethel May Walbank. As to where Edward, Elizabeth or their son John was born is a real mystery.

Can anyone out there please help.

Looking for family of John Ellson b. abt. 1885 in WI, m. Geneva (Jenny) DeLap; she died abt 1930; there was one son born to this union; John remarried. I would appreicate hearing from anyone who has this family in their genealogy.

I am researching John Ellson, also a shoemaker, born 1801 in Bunbury, Cheshire. Possibly a brother of your Anne? John was my greatx3-grandfather.

I am writing a geneolgy book on my english ancestry. Any information will be highly appreciated. My ancestors were originally bacon-nelson and changed it to ellson. He was a military married or not to a marianas island native. He had a son named pedro ellson who lived in the philippines were i am currently am based any information pls is highly valuable thank you

I am researching the Ellson family from Cheshire.Anne Ellson (b1808) married John Povall in 1842 at Over,Cheshire.Her father was Thomas Ellson a Shoe maker also from Cheshire.Anyone else researching this family.Thanks Diane
