My great-grandmother maiden name was Elman and the family came to the united states from holland. I am having a very hard time finding when they came or how they got here. I've been researching the Elmans for over 20 years. Michele Sussman has been in touch with me, & we learned she was the daughter of my husband's first cousin. I was able to give her information. Our family is a very large one, & I've subsequently been in touch with many of them around the world. Were you able to discover whether there was a connection with your Elman family?

Seeking any Elmans who had family in Romaina and may have left for the UK just prior to the 1900.

Mischa Elmon is I believe my great uncle.
