Just getting into this myself.His daughter Mary Ann Elmhurst,born 13 oct 1823,married John Steele.Had 11 children.Hannah Steele,married John Brockie,Isabel Brockie,Johns daughter,is my great grandmother.

My great great grandfather was Alexander Connell that married Jane Elmhirst, my great grandmother was Barbara Agnes Connell that married Archibald Robinson.
I would love to exchange any information that you may have to help me fill in the gaps.

I am living out in Airdrie Alberta now, but grew up for awhile in Fenelon Falls.

Joseph Elmhirst and Mary Ann Toyne

I have just started research into my family history and have gotten stoped at Joseph. He was born in England in 1789 and Died at Westwood Ontario July 19, 1875. I know he had 2 brothers (Robert E. and Lietu Phillip James) and 2 sister (Mrs S.M. Griswold and Mrs. S.E. Hatch. He was son of Lord Elmhirst and have some old records that are hard to read prior to this generation.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sarah Elmhurst/Elmhirst. I am looking for
parents infomation. Joseph was born in 1844
either in England or Canada. Sarah was born
in 1842 also either in England Canada.
I know two sublings of these people but what
