I do have Elizabeth Melton Elrod in my husband's tree. She was b. 2 April 1821 and d. 1889 in Fannin, TX She m. Seneca Noblitt 6 Sept 1836. He was b. 13 Sep 1815, Grayson Co., VA and d. 1896. Her parents were Jacob Elrod, b. 24 Dec 1788, Rowan Co NC and d. 11 Sept. 1855 Orange Co., IN. He m. Mildred Cooper July 1, 1816 in Orleans, Orange Co., IN. She was b. 8 April 1793 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co, GA and d. 29 Apr. 1852. Jacob co-founded Old Union Church (now United Methodist) near Orleans, IN Orange Co. in 1828, and both he and Mildred are buried in the cemetery there. I go back farther than that with the Elrods if you are interested. Jacob's dau. Elizabeth Melton Elrod, was the sister of Thomas Elrod, who is in my husband's line. Carol Elrod
