Bud, I know that my father's people were in and around Putney/Campbells Creek. Booker was a brother to my grandfather. He is buried in the Cemetery there in Putney. Can you tell me anything about William R.? His parents? Brothers and Sisters, Children? etc? There was a stretch of land along a ridge called "8 mile" There was a school there.
