Surnames: ELWOOD , BEATY / BEATTY
I'm looking for any infomation on George Elwood.
Married Carrie Beaty around <1870> or so.
Don't know birth dates or Place.
Death was around 1871, N.Y
They had a son : Frank Elwood , B: 1871 , Watertown , N.Y.
Son's Obit says that his father was killed in a train wreck when he was 3 mos old.
Then When he was 1 yr old , him & his mother came to Iowa.
Anything would be a great help!!! If you have George in your family line , or know of a train wreck around that time . PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!
