I am trying to help my friend find his father. Any help would be appreciated. This is the information that we have found. According to his birth record his father was Raymond Floyd Emerson born in Wetherford, Tx. Raymond's year of birth is about 1905. When I search Ancestry the only hits I get are on the 1910 & 1920 census. But the infomation on the census does not jive with what we know. The census shows the family in Collin county, Tx. Wetherford is not in that county. My friend's mother also mentioned that Raymond's mother's name was Frances Leverett (could be Levitt?). I can not make a hit on her either. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
