I am looking for EMLEY'S of Hunterdon Co., NJ who changed their name to EMERY ... there may also be the name EMBLEY, too. This story of name changing was passed down to us kids by our mother, Margaret Shepherd EMERY, whose father was Alonzo Vactor EMERY b. 1867 who married Sarah SHEPHERD and grand father who was William EMERY b. 1844 married to Martha QUICK.
