Oldest son of Wm. Emley (1648-1704) was Wm., Jr (1675-1726). Wm, Jr had Ruth*, William* and Thomas*. Thomas* had Wm*, Sarah*, Thomas*, Mary* and Peter*. Peter* had at least 4 children, who he adopted, by at least 3 different women,(Sarah Arney*, Rebecca Brown*, Elizabeth Stewart*)none of whom he married.
