I'm looking for genealogy info on Anne Catherine Emmerick/h b. 9/8/1774 d. 2/9/1824 who will likely be made a Saint on Oct. 3, 2004. I know her parents were Bernd (Bernard) Emmerick and Anna Hiller(s).
I have a GGGGrandmother Margaret Elizabeth Emmerich b 9/16/1835 Coesfeld, Westphalen, Germany d.11/4/1914 St. Anthony, Ohio married to my GGGGrandfather Herman J. Muhlenkamp b.1/3/1836 Billerbeck, Westphalen, Germany d.2/13/1917 St. Anthony, Ohio.
I know Margaret's parents were Bernard Emmerich and Anna Leuvick, but have no other info on them. I have not been able to link them to any other Emmerichs, but have been told by many people I am related to this lady who is to become a Saint, and even know of some distant relatives who are traveling to Europe to attend her beatificaton on Oct. 3rd.
Any insight anyone can provide would be appreciated - linking bernard & anna to anne catherine or not!
