Emmett, Jr., Jacob, Adj Co K; mustered Aug 24, 1861; discharged Oct 14, 1863, on a surgeon's certificate; born Dec 15, 1830, the son of Jacob & Lydia Ilgenfritz (I also have his mother as Juliana Eichelberger); died Nov 1, 1881, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota; previously served with the 2nd Pa Inf; a dry goods salesman from York; moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, 10 days after mustering out of the 87th, supposedly to improve his health;
