Tennessee Emmons

Looking for information on Emmons in Southern Tennessee from the early 1800's to present. My gg-grandfather was William Wesley Emmons who married Lina Ann Hopkins in McNairy County, Tn. His son, Chester, was my g-grandfather. We believe William's father was H. Nixon Emmons who married Rebecca P. Jones also in McNairy County around 1860. Any information about these families or related branches would be very much appreciated.
