I am a decendant of Isaac Emond and Marie Garineau of St-Louis de Rochefort, France. Does any one out there know
the History of the Emond/Hemond name? Or where I might find a history written in English? Also, If anyone knows of
the occupation of Isaac I would like to know. I do know that many of his decendants were ship builders and carpenters. My line of his decendants Surname was changed to Hammond in the 1870's here in Michigan.
