I am the granddaughter of Eng Fat Chong, immigant to Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada in 1949. Anyone with information regarding the circumstances of his immigration, or with news of the possible family (wife and son) he left behind in China would be much appreciated.

Eng Fat Chong remarried once here in Canada to Joan of Arc Page and had 18 children, all of which are scattered over the Toronto area now. He had a brother now known as Ken, and possibly several connections to China Town in Toronto, Ontario, as he had a vegetable shop there for several years.

Any assistance in piecing together his life or family history would be wonderful.
