Prof. Brent Mai has completed translation of many censuses from a lot of the Colonies in the Volga area of Russia. You can Google him and find his page where he has a list of them. Most are from 1834 and some also from 1857. He gives the Village names and also the names in those Villages. I sent in for the Kukkus one and it gave me a huge breakthrough on my Engelmann family. Actually several generations were living together.
