Titus daughter, Elizabeth England, b. 1815, TN was the wife of Zachariah Stewart, b. 1810, TN. Legend has it that Zach was a farmer and a Methodist circuit rider, like his father, and that he was killed by bushwackers in Jackson Co. Mo. during the Civil War. She was born in Roane County, TN and he was also born in Tennessee. His county of birth is possibly Robertson Co., where there are Stewart and England families living close to each other. In 1830 when he is 20 years old he is not listed in the Tenn. Census. It is possible that he has already moved on by this time to Ohio or Illinois where his first child, Agnes is born in 1836.

They have a total of 11 children from 1834 to 1860: 1) Agnes 1834, 2) Wesley, 3) Levi (Union Army), 4) Lewis (Union Army), 5) Mary, 6) Mary J., 7) Louisa 8) Sarah L. 9) Elizabeth F. 10) Zachariah (jr) 11) Dennis. All of the other 11 (or maybe 12) children are born in Iowa. Zacharia is found there on the 1836 Territorial Census, and the 1840 and 1850 US Census. His occupation is consistently listed as a farmer, and both he and his wife show that they were born in Tennessee.

These families went from Franklin Co., Va. to Roane Co., Tn., where they were in 1812, to Robertson Co., Tn. by 1820, to Morgan and Macoupin Co., Ill. by 1830. Zachariah's will is in Jackson County and his executor is Charles Stewart, assumed to be a relative. The will lists 8 of the 11 children and his wife Elizabeth (England). The assumption is that some of the children have died by this time. Two of the daughters are now married and living in Kansas.
