Researching Sophie or Sophia Engler or Endler, or Englar, or Endlar, or Engle or Englin, or some variation. She left Lithuania for South Africa and married a relative there. Don't know if Engler,e tc. was her maiden or married name, or a derivation of some other surname. Not much to go on, but she was apparently one of my relatives. Other family names are: Shur, Shure, Meler, Meller, Rabinovitz or Rabinovitch, Cohen, Lurie, Nowjaski/Nevis, Rudaitzky/Rudeis, all from Lithuania.
