My great-grandmother was Louise Enmeier. She was born in Bremen, Germany in 1875. She arrived in the US in 1884 or 1886. Her parents were Henry W. Enmeier and Isabelle Snyder. She married Henry Heithecker in Knox County, IN on 7/2/1893. They had 4 sons: Albert, Raymond, Louis, and Ora (my grandfather). Albert was Postmaster in Plainville in the early days, then moved to Terre Haute, IN until his death. Raymond, I believe, ended up in Texas. Louis ended up in Indianapolis, and moved to FL where he died. Ora lived briefly in Plainville, OK, Brazil IN, and for many years in Indianapolis until his death.

I just noticed on a 1930 census record for Louis, in Plainville IN, that he and his wife has a "roomer" named Vera Enmeier. I'm guessing that she may have been a niece of my great-grandmother Louise Enmeier Heithecker.

If anyone has any further information about this family, I would appreciate it. My mother (Janis Ora Heithecker Martin) and her siblings are all deceased, so there isn't anyone who can help (except for my 85 year old father who can only provide info on the relatives he met long ago). I am planning a trip to Plainville this summer, and would like to do further research there.

Thank you so much!
