I do know that they had 2 children:1) Aron, born Nov 12, 1842, married Susanna Ewert 2) Anna, born Oct 10, 1836, married Johann Wolf. Both children came to Canada. Any information on any of the mentioned people would be greatly appreciated.

Susan Pelchat

Enns family book

My grandfather George Enns was born in Russia. His mother was Agnes Flaming and his father was Gerhardt Enns. They left Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution. They were Mennonites and refused to go to war. They escaped Russia with the family Bible and a history book of the Enns family. The books were very dear to my grandfather, always passed from oldest son to oldest son in the Enns family. My great-grandfather risked his life to save these books In the 1970's - 1980's my grandfather travelled to Reedley, Calif. to visit other Enns family members and loaned the history book to one of them. He never got it back and died not able to pass it on to his oldest son. If someone from the Enns family in Reedley is willing to return the book to its rightful heirs it would be greatly appreciated. My grandfather tried to find it but failed before he died. We are hoping the Reedley Enns family is as honest and humble as my grandfather was. The rightful heir is Edward Enns in Chico, Calif. His email address is eenns34825@aol.com Please help us find this lost treasure.
Terry Enns MacDevitt brimac5@charter.net
