David Louis Eno [Fresniere] is my grandfather he was a was a sailor born 28 Sep, 1882, he married Alice Geneva Breed, born 12 OCT 1878,buried in Newport, NH (died 19 May 1918 of Uterine Cancer), David Louis later divorced her a little before his 2nd marriage to Mary Catherine Stevens on November 28, 1913. Their 1st child from the 2nd marriage died June 6, 1914, then Louis Austin Eno was born (who went by the name of Louis Austin Henault) was born 20 Aug 1906, he died Oct. 1978 in Queeens, NY Burial in Mt. St. Mary's AN RC Cemetery, Flushing, Queens, New York.Later children followed. The next child listed on the 1920 census is Louis M Eno but I think the name is wrong as the age calculates back to Aug 1906 which is Louis Austin's Eno birth date.,the 1920 census has him at 13, the next child is Donald Eno b. Jun 13, 1908 at 12,then My father Lawrence Eno at 10 years old followed by his brother Wesley Eno, at 7, then 4 girls, Dorothy,6 years old Irene,at 2yr, 6mo. and Ruth at 1 year, 5 mo. If you go to steveeno's web site you can trace ancestors a long way back to Jacques Enaud dit Canada and Marie LeRoux our earliest ancestors that came to settle Canada.
