Bridget Enos
A rosary for Bridget Patricia “Patsy” Enos, 71, is at 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Monica’s Catholic Church, 1129 W. Wood St., Willows. A memorial service is at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, followed by burial at Willows Cemetery and a reception at St. Monica’s parish hall.
Enos died Jan. 20, 2009, at her Willows home. She was born Bridget McLaughlin on Feb. 2, 1937, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1949. She opened the “76 Joy Street” gift shop in Willows 25 years ago, and was a devout member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. She married John Enos in 1959, and the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September.
Survivors include husband John of Willows; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Debbie Enos of Artois; daughter and son-in-law Shiela and Allen Etchepare of Colusa; daughter and son-in-law Veronica and Tim McFadden of Corning; sister May Ainger of Willows; brother Tom McLaughlin of Livermore; grandsons Tyler, William and Kyle Enos of Artois and Sean and Evan McFadden of Corning; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Connections in care of Enloe Cancer Center, 265 Cohasset Road, Suite 140, Chico CA 95926
