According to "Record of the Descendants of James Ensign and his Wife Sarah Elson" Lydia Jane Ensign b. 5 May 1824 in Burlington CT was the daughter of Datus Ensign and Mary Winegar. She married 1st Jaes Burrows She had 2 children. Lucy died at 17 weeks in 1851. She married 2nd Ephraim Lockwood second child was Ensign, b. 11 July 1846, adopted. He died in a sailing accident 12 June 1880.
