Patricia Lee Ensminger was born 09 Aug 1938 in Des Moines, Polk Co., IA. Her mother was Alberta Hester Ensminger, age 17, born at Quincy IL. In February of 1939, Alberta placed her baby girl up for adoption in Lee Co., IA. Patricia was then sent to the Iowa Soldier's Orphans Home in Davenport, Scott Co., IA from where she was adopted in May 1939.
