Ensminger Brothers - Photographers

Nancy, I just read your message about your Ensmingers being photographers. Do you have any knowledge of the Ensminger bros. who's collection of pictures of the Spanish American War are in the University in Tampa, Fla. I have been told that their studio was located in Jacksonville -- that's where I live so I have been trying to find information on them. There was a huge fire in Jacksonville in 1901 that burnt most of the city so I am not sure how much data I will be able to find. Went to the Main library Sat. hoping to do some research on them and when I got there was told they were closed because they had a fire in the library the night before. Thats spooky, fire seems to follow them. I'll keep looking, just thought you might know of them. Thanks, Hazel
