Thomas Ensor - Born 1715, Baltimore Md

My mother's family are descendents of this Thomas Ensor. His grandson is one of the original settlers of this town in Tennessee. I am seeking the burial sites of any of the Ensors of this family from Maryland. His wife was Mary Costley and his son Thomas moved to Tennessee sometime around 1777.

Looking for information about UK Ensors in Liverpool, Birkenhead or Wallasey before 1850. Linked to London/Coventry Ensors. Henry George Ensor came from this family but the 1881 census says he was born in "Lisbon, British subject". Is this Lisbon, Portugal or a misspelling of another place (eg Lisburn in Northern Ireland - I know there were Ensors there)? Any help gratefully received.

According to the will of George ENSOR of Fauquier Co., Va., he died in April of 1810 and at the time of his death he was married to a lady named Jamimah. A gentleman named William Stephens was present at the inventory of the estate and was to have guardianship of the minor children. Docia was not mentioned in any of the proceedings. William R Ensor was administrator. Does anyone know what happened to Docia and who is this Jamimah person? At present I have not found a marriage license for George and Jemimah. Any thoughts or information will be greatly appreciated.

Charles was married to Elizabeth Caroline Howard who had 11 children in Ireland and 4 in California.

Somewhere I have read that George ENSOR, Fauquier Co., Va. (married to Docia Stephens)died about 1810, however, his will was probated about 1827. To me that seems like a very long time for probate. I have also heard that he owned 360 acres on Deep Run Creek in southern Fauquier Co., Va. Surely, one of his eight children would have wanted their share sooner than 17 years.
My line is George, Stephen, James B, Robert A, and my father Walter K Sr.

One Benjamin Start stayed in MD, one apparently went to AR or AL and the one I am looking for served as a doctor at Fort Crook in n. CA from 1860 to about 1869 and was not heard from again. His widow's pension application (10/27/1905) stated that he had no children then living and under age16.

Funeral services will be held at the Houghton Chapel Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Prange officiating. Burial will be in the Middlebury Cemetery.
Mrs Ensor was born in Mt. Sterling, Ky., Jun3 17, 1881, the daughter of John and Mary Jane Tabor. She attended school in Mt. Sterling and moved from there to Welch, (Webster County?) West Va., in 1918, then to Michigan in 1940. She had resided on Upton Road near Ovid before moving to the Holmes home.
She was married to Oscar Ensor in Mt. Sterling, Ky., in 1895. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Agnes) Bulter of Laingsburg, Mrs. Arthur (Arden) James of War, West Va., Mrs. Lonnie (Noma) Chapman of rural Morrice, Mrs. Frances Chapman of Lansing; one son Oliveer of War, West Va.., 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and 14 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Thomas ENSOR, b. 1718 in Baltimore County, MD; d. before 1815. He married Mary COSTLY 27 Jan 1738/39, daughter of William Costly and Mary Ellis.

Their children were:
1. William ENSOR, b. 07 May 1741; d. 23 Apr 1801; m. Martha Costly.
2. Thomas ENSOR, b. 05 May 1745; d. Sept 1745.
3. James G. ENSOR, b. 23 Aug 1746; m. Nancy Dean 12 Jul 1798.
4. Thomas ENSOR, b. 19 Nov 1749; d. after 07 Feb 1815; m. Mary TALBOTT, d/o William Talbott and Mary Roberts.
5. Elizabeth ENSOR, b. Nov 1754.

#4 above Thomas ENSOR, wife Mary TALBOTT and 7 children moved to Washington County, TN ~1800.

Am looking for info on Dorothy Ensor and her husband Richard B. Wheeler. Info I have is that she was member of the Bosley Methodist Church in Cockeysville, Baltimore Co, MD for 60 years and that they are buried in the cemetery there just beyond the church.
