My grandfather was Henry Taylor Enterkin and grandmother was Katie Ann (Baker) Enterkin. Anyone family?

I'm hunting for information on John W. he married Mary Abernathy 12 Oct. 1845 Tippah Co., Ms. and then married Susan ?? abt 1858/1859. Mary & John had a daughter Nancy A. who was my gggandmother. Nancy married Albert Burgess, they moved to Tn for a short while but then returned to Tippah Co. I have not been able to find a death date or place for either of them & would appreciate help. I'm hunting for proof of parentage of Nancy to complete application to DAR. If you have any information, I will really appreciate it.

I am transcribing the Evergreen Cemetary in Ontario, Malheur Co., Oregon and thought I would post Pre-1900 headstones. I am not completely done with this effort as it is a large cemetary. There is a possibility that there will be more of this family posted at a later date.

Don't know if you got an answer to your query on the origins of the name Enterkin. It came from Scotland. All Enterkin, Entrekin, Entrikin, Entriken, Entrican and Antrican basically have the same roots.

I am trying to find my three brothers. Their names are Billy, Charles and Paul Enterkin. They lived in Bay County, Florida in 1948 when my father C.J. Enterkin died.(around 1948). My mother Julia Baxley Enterkin remarried and move away with my three brothers. I was adopted out to the Gray family. Please contact me if you have any information. Thanks Alice
