Entins, Entins, Entins
I had no idea that there were so many Entins out there! I am from Chicago, and my family is the only Entins in all of the Chicago metropolitan area ( I think...). As was repeated before, I suspect the name has its origins in the Northern Ukraine, Belorussian region as that's what I'm made of, along with being part Moscovite. ( I think...) My family came over sometime during the tumultuous Russian revolution. However, my brother was told a while ago by a rabbinical scholar that the name is actually an old hebrew name, which unlike most other Jewish names, remained suprisingly untouched. Whether or not all or most Entins are Jewish, I do not know, but I suspect this.... Anway, hats off to those of us who never meet anybody else with the same name, whatever race, religion, creed or color, for we are all Entins.
