New email address

I have done extensive reseach on the family name of Entin in Belarus and Ukraine. I have noted my new email address above. The Entin was fairly uncommon in the Russian Empire and mostly limited to the area around Minsk. Although some of the branches of my family went to Ukraine. Please contact me if you are interested in these branches of the Entin Family. Jeffrey Entin

Entins, Entins, Entins

I had no idea that there were so many Entins out there! I am from Chicago, and my family is the only Entins in all of the Chicago metropolitan area ( I think...). As was repeated before, I suspect the name has its origins in the Northern Ukraine, Belorussian region as that's what I'm made of, along with being part Moscovite. ( I think...) My family came over sometime during the tumultuous Russian revolution. However, my brother was told a while ago by a rabbinical scholar that the name is actually an old hebrew name, which unlike most other Jewish names, remained suprisingly untouched. Whether or not all or most Entins are Jewish, I do not know, but I suspect this.... Anway, hats off to those of us who never meet anybody else with the same name, whatever race, religion, creed or color, for we are all Entins.

Hi. just found this message board. I live in Ringoes, NJ, work in Princeton, NJ and was born in Brooklyn, NY. Father Joel H. Entin, Mother Eileen A. Entin, Brother Paul L. Entin, Paternal Grandparents Morris Entin and Leah Entin, all from Brooklyn; Morris' parents came from overseas, probably Russia. Morris has/had 4 brothers/sisters, Phil, Betty, Ida, Murial. Forget name of his father. My father's brother is Steven Entin of East Brunswick, NJ. Hope the above is of any interest. A few Entins around but can't seem to connect family lines, yet. Regards. Comments?
