MOBILE REGISTER 9 NOV 1917 (FRIDAY)
Almeda L Brewton, a native of Jackson County MS, a resident of Mobile for the past eighteen years, died yesterday at her home, 18 St Emanuel Street. She was ill but a short time. Mrs Brewton is survived by three sons, Royal R, Joseph, and Mark Brown; and two daughters, Mrs E L Gentry and Mrs E L Hillberg, of this city; one sister, Mrs Elizabeth Reeder, and three brothers, George Entrekin, Captain John Entrekin of Biloxi MS, and Captain J E Entrekin, of Mobile; one sister-in-law, Mrs E Entrekin of Waynesboro MS, and a large family connection. The remains were taken to Pascagoula this morning.
*I believe the surname of her sons is incorrect and should be Brewton.
