Good morning
Dead certain that although your ancestor may have come from Sheffield to the US, his roots were in or around Edgeworth in Lancashire. Sir Bertrine ENTWISTLE had his estate there in 1500s and the family name spread from there. My lot wound up in Heywood, between Bury and Rochdale.
Have we swapped info before? I lose track.
