My Entwisle family is from the NY/NJ area, however we spell our name without the 2nd "T" but I've been told there are some relatives who spell it with the 2nd "T". By the way, my grandfather was Edward Bertine Entwisle and passing down names was common for our family. My gg-grandfather James came to the U.S. from the UK sometime before the Civil War during the middle 1800's and was married to Ellen Dawson. I am stuck from this point.
