Warren Entzminger of Blythewood, S. C., is William Warren Entzminger. He was born about 1835 to Frederick Entzminger, Jr and had several brothers and sisters. He attended Furman College in the 1850's (his Uncle Christian Entzminger and then Cousin Samuel Bookhart were trustees of that institution.) He served in the 12th SC Volunteer Infantry during the War Between the States. After the war he was a surveyor, planter, and lumberman. He also served for a time as a Trial Justice (Magistrate) for Upper Township of Richland County. His wife predeceased him in the 1890's and he eventually entered the Confederate Soldiers Home in Columbia where he died January 1, 1915. He and his wife (and many relatives) are buried at Sandy Level Baptist Church, Blythewood, S. C.
