Classification: Query
Surnames: Enyard, Inyard, Tucker, Christerson, Richards
My Grandfather was John Robert Enyard born in Taylor county Kentucky in 1885. He ws married to Tiny Elizabeth Tucker in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY Jan 1, 1910. They made their home in Knifley, Adair co KY. His father was George Enyard and Laura A Christerson (married 1881). He and Mary were children of George and Laura. George remarried Nancy E ? and had other children later-Frank etc. My mon said her grandpa George talked of his ancestors coming from Lincoln CoCo KY.

I see a John Inyard married to a Polly Richards in the early 1800s and a John in the 1810, 20, 30, and 40 census for Lincoln Co. In 1850 I see Polly listed with Catherine, Abram and Samuel. In 1860 I See Abram with a family of Mary E, George and John R. Samuel is with the Bastin Family. In 1870 I see a George (11) in Neatsville Adair KY with another family and a William (8)living with the Bastin family in Lincoln Co.

In 1880 I see a George Enyart in Casey Creek Adair KY at 23yrs and a servant with the Monday Family. I also see a George, Nick and Will Inyard (15,17 and 17 years old)in Lincoln county boarding with three different families. I see a William in later census records in Spurlington, TAylor KY. I also see a John and Barbara Inyard in the 1900 and 1910 Lincoln county Census.

Can anyone on this board shed any light on what I am seeing in these census records. I'm a little confused at the moment.
