Surnames: Enyard, Simonson, Johnson, Armstrong, Goff
John Mitchell Enyard was the son of Elias Enyard and Ann Mitchell. He was born around 1801 in New Jersey. He died in 1884. He was married to Sophia Simonson. All I have on her tho is that she was born around 1803. They had seven children: Isaaqc S. - born 1825; Elizabeth - born 1827; Margaret Ann; John; Catharine E.; William Tillotson - born 1836 and Sophia - born 1844.

In the name of the Lord Amen. I John M. Enyard of Port Richmond County of Richmond in the State of New York, considering the uncertainty of human life and being in sound mind and memory, do make, publish ordain and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say.
Item 1st at and immediately after my decease I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sophia C. after the payment of all my just debts and expenses attending my funeral and interment, all the income rents issues profits and interest of all my Real Estate and Personal property of which I may die possessed, situate in the State of New York, New Jersey or elsewhere, of every name and nature whatsoever, for the purpose of her comfortable maintenance and support for the payment of taxes, and necessary repairs on the Real Estate, and I give my said wife whom I hereby nominate and appoint Executrix of this my last Will and Testament full power and authority to sell and dispose of any part or of all of my Real Estate at Public or private sale at such time or times, and upon such terms, and in such manner as to her shall seem meet and proper and to give proper conveyances Deed or Deeds and acquitances for the same, without requiring each or any of my children to sign such conveyances, Deed or Deed_ or acquitances during her my said wifes' lifetime.
Item 2d Within one year after the decease of my said wife I order and direct my surviving executors hereinafter named, or the survivor of them to sell any and all of my Real Estate not sold previously by my executrix at public auction after the same shall have been advertised, for at least six weeks previous and to give and grant proper acquitances conveyances Deed or Deeds, for the same according to the law in such cases made and provided and after the payment of the funeral expenses of my said wife and any incidental expenses which may occur in the sale of the property and in the payment of taxes to divide the proceeds of all of my estate both from the personal and Real Estate equally between each and all of my children or their legal representatives to share and share alike, the names of my children are as follows, Margaret Ann Johnson, now widow of Allen Johnson residing in the City of New York, Isaac S. Enyard residing in the City of Brooklyn, Catharine E. Armstrong wife of John Armstrong residing at Annette, New York and Rev William T. Enyard now residing at New Brighton, New York and Sophia Goff wife of Howard M. Goff now residing in the family of the Testator.
Item 3d And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my sons Isaac S. Enyard and Rev. William T. Enyard and my son in law Howard M. Goff to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament to act as such Executors after the decease of my said wife, hereby revoking all other or former wills by me made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eleventh day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and Seventy three.
