HI I just discovered the people you have listed in my own family tree. Pieter VanWoogelum, Caniachkoo Turtle Clan, her father name listed the S achem Caniachkoo and the mother with same name as the girl Caniachkoo Turtle Clan. Makes no sense to me but maybe that is really the name and not the actual clan unless you know for sure it's the name and not the clan.
If I'm wrong please let me know so I can fix it thank you

silverstar47512

Hi Alan,

Thank you for the response to my posting.

I don't have much about Thomas L. Enyeart:
THOMAS L. ENYEART filed for a pension on January 27, 1876. He was wounded a Petersburg, Virginia, on April 2, 1865. Thomas also served in the 125th Regiment, Company C (August 13, 1862 – May 18, 1863). He was discharged by General Order on June 5, 1865.

Company B was recruited in Blair County. Your son of Benjmain is a good bet. May I have what you can add?

Thomas did serve as a corporal in the 208th.

Thanks,

Joe
morse73@ptd.net

I have Thomas L. Enyeart, son of Benjamin and Catherine (Spealman/Spielman) Enyeart b 1 Aug 1845 (Blair county, PA), d 1924 (Pittsburgh, PA ?) m 23 Nov 1865 (Martinsburg, Blair county, PA) Margaret Rhodes. However there is a clipping from a 1938 "Cove Herald" refering to a Col Thomas L Enyeart returning from the Gettysburg celebration.

Alan

I don't have any pictures since my mother and grandmother didn't have very good feelings about him. I have high speed internet so large pictures are fine. Thanks so much and I'll be working on it too.

That matches up with what I have. My husband's Mother Betty Jeanne Enyeart (she would be a niece to him) wrote that he had 3 children. I know one of them to be a male, as she stated he came to see her, but late in her life and she didn't remember his name. I know he had 1 wife name Nina M, that shows up in 1920 Census. In the 1930 Census he is divorced, but states he first married at the age of 24, so the date of at least his first marriage would be 1918, which I had assumed was with Nina.

Now as far as his parents go, I don't know where they got the name of Edith as the mother, in the Washington Birth Records. His father was James Albert Enyeart and his mother was Katherine Victoria Speck. There is a Edith E Speck but she is married to Ernest Glen Speck, which would be a brother to Ralph Henry Enyeart. Ernest and Edith married in May 18 1917 Couer d'Alene, Idaho, or Moscow, Latah, Idaho (I have 2 places for the marriage, and this is written down not researched)

I have a web file at Ancestory, however I don't have everything entered in it. If you give me a couple days I will try to get what I have so far (researched as fact) inputted, then I will invite you to look at it.

Do you have any pictures of Ralph? I have a few, if you will send me your email address I will send them to you. Do you have DSL or Cable for internet(if not I will have to reduce the size of the pictures first)?

I've found there is a Ralph Henry Enyeart which may be also Raymond which I am referring to from the first post. I have not found marriage records, but it is common knowledge to our family that Raymond was a bigamist--having both Alice Swanson and another unknown wife. Please, if anyone has more information it would be greatly appreciated.

Colorado Enyeart's

William Enyeart from Colorado--William was a Rev. and had 3 daughters. One was Lida Enyeart. William was Vance Enyeart's brother. Vance was a son of Abraham Enyeart who died in Brookfield Mo. Of course they all tie back to the Indiana Enyeart's. So, my question is -- William's family--does anyone have any information on them?

Hi All,
Looking for information on Cora Mae Enyeart, possibly born in 1875 Ohio and died 1959, Michigan. Buried in Lake City, MI. She was married to Miles Cole. Lived in Monroe, MI for a time. Have no definative proof that her last name was Enyeart, it is said she may have been a Mennonite and come from Ohio. Her family is said to have disowned her for marrying out of her faith. Looking for information on the Ohio Enyearts, Ohio Mennonites and possibly a link with the name Baldwin, Balwin, Bowen? Any help in direction, sites, places to start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Now that I look at this I'm not real sure that this is the same Levi. As Rosa (Conner) married Levi late in life (1911) they didn't have any children that I know of.
