He participated in the Oklahoma land run of 1889. I have some contacts that are decendents from John's side, he was a son also of George.
Yes, he is the Eoff about whom I am looking for information. It is said that in the 1920's he laid out a golf course in Green Oak Township. There is now a subdivision on that site, and I am secretary of the homeowners association. We are doing research on the history of our subdivision, and are hoping to contact a descendant who might have old drawings, maps, or other information.

I'm sure you are all probably aware of this, but there is an extensive bulletin board for Eoff at genforum.com. Also, there is an Eoff family website which has tons of information and history. I've lost the address, but you can do a metasearch and it will pop up. From what I've picked up all of us Eoffs are related and are descendants of Jacob Eoff who came to the US in the 18th century.

Hi everyone my name is Jean DeClue. I am looking for information on a Nancy Eoff who married Jass Huskey about 1863 or 1864. Their son my grandfather William Jasper Huskey was born Feb 1865 in Morris Mill Mo. Can you help me find them I'm not sure what the Jass is short for. I found this info in my mothers family bible. I know my grandfather married Ellen Shipley and they resided in Bliss Mo. in Washington County. I think he had a brother named Dilly Lafeyette Huskey. I was told he died in 1902 and is buried in Fletcher Misssouri. I'm not sure if their were other children. If anyone has any information on this lady please let me know. Thanks so much .
Michael David Eoff in CA 1968

Wow! What an intense site. It's great to see so many Eoffs sharing information. I feel kind of silly - I'm very new at this and many of you have info going back to the 1700s! Good work! Does anyone have info on Michael? I was born in 1968 to Kimberly Loughborough and Michael David Eoff. He was 19 at the time and this was in Los Angeles. He was a truck driver for a fish hatchery. That is all I know (from my birth certificate) except that I was told he was not my biological father. I would still like to know all I can and would really like to get in touch with him or anyone who can tell me anything about...ohhh...anything! I have no contact with any family members at all (mother deceased-most of her family deceased or not known by me). I've carried his name all my life and would really like to connect a person to the name. Please reply to message board. Thanks!

My James Monroe Elliott was born June 22, 1816 in Warren Co, Tn,
son of Stephen Elizabeth Elliott. My search is for the parents
Stephen. On the 1850 60 census his state of birth is listed as
NC, but on the 1870 census it is listed as SC. I have searched for
years on NC and have come to the conclusion that SC must be the
right state of birth.

They are not the same person, but where did your James M. come from
in SC?
