I would love to find out as much information on the Eplin's and the information on a family reunion. My wife is an Eplin and her father Donald Gene Eplin was from Logan county. Pearl Eplin daughter of Daniel

I am looking for information on Daniel Eplin. I think for either Wayne or Logan Counties in West Virginia My grandmother Pearl Eplin (b.1920) was his daughter. I have no info on him other than I know he left her and her mother at a very young age and he met and married a woman by the name of Becky ? and had more children with her. Help! I would love to futher this line. Thanks for any information you may have.

I am trying to find any info on an Elizabeth Eplin that was born in Milam County, Texas 1859. Her family had a furniture store in Cameron, Tx. She married a Benton. I have been told that the spelling is Eplen but on her daughters death certifcate it is spelled Eplin. Does anyone have anything on her? I believe her parents are Phillip & Caroline but I'm not sure.

Hi, I don't know if you are still looking for information on the Eplin families from Logan and Lincoln counties. But by chance, my grandfather had two brother Carl and Wetzel Eplin. My grandfathers name was Haskell Eplin. My dads name was Paul Eplin. My great grandparents were Annie (Messenger or Messinger) and Everett Eplin. I know this branch originated from Midkiff in Lincoln County and most gradually moved to Logan County. I don't know much about Wetzel, he was estranged for some reason, I do know that Carl died about 1973. They also had sisters named Irene and maybe Allene. Hope this helps somebody. Let me know!

I was married to an Eplion who told me that his grandfather changed his last name to Eplion from Adkins because he thought there were too many Adkins. Don't know if this is true but that is what I was told.
