I am looking to verify a connection.

Martin Epps and Ermin Appleby had a son named Joshua b. 1840 in Butler Co, MO.
Joshua was married to Nancy Vernetta Unknown.
From other researchers and census records I find the following children:
Andrew J, Isadora V, Joshua George, Margaret Viola, Charles J, Laura J, James M, Fanny, John W and Oma.

Joshua was in Collin Co, TX for 1860-70 census. In 1880 he was in Fannin and in 1910 he was in Hill Co, TX.
Nancy was gone by 1900 so I believe she died in 1883 or 4.

My husband is descended from Nora Bethel Epps b. 1885 in Texas. I found her in 1900 living with her mother Anna Roberts b. MO 1858, her brother John W Epps and a 1/2 sister Bonna? Roberts. I find John W Epps in Bryan Oklahoma in 1910 (and I belive the Oma who is married to James M Williams is his 1/2 sister listed as Bonna in 1900) and Choctaw OK in 1920.
I am looking for confirmation that this John W Epps is the son of Joshua and Nancy therefore making Anna a 2nd wife and Nora being Joshua's daughter. Right now what I have is circumstantial. With Joshua being in Fannin Co, TX the same time Nora was born and there are no other Epps there, I hope I can find evidence of their connection.
Nora married Ben Kizer and is in Jones Co, TX in 1910 with 2 girls and pregnant with a 3rd. She dies a few months after the 3rd little girl is born and Ben takes the girls back to Tennessee. The little baby, Irene Dixie Kizer, was given to his brother Orville Kizer as he had no children. Ben was in Grayson in 1900 but had lived in Fannin before that, the same time Joshua was there. Ben was married to a much older woman (Anna Meadows) who had children from a previous marriage and descendant of those children think Ben killed her for her Indian money. He marries Nora shortly after Anna's death.
So does anyone have any obits, wills, etc that would list another daughter for Joshua?
