Re: Andrew & Minnie Tauscher Ernst who arrived from Germany
about 1880. 1900 Census places them in Verona,Essex,NJ. 1910
Census in Newark,Ward 8,Essex,NJ. 1920 Census in Roseland.
1930 Census shows Minnie widowed(?)and living in Caldwell.
Children: Henry(1896-?),Louis(1888-1971),Minnie(1891-?) Dora(1893-?),August(my Father)(1895-1975),Henrietta(1901-?)
Edwin(1906-?),Milton(1908-1990).My Father August ("Augie")married Anne Ring Tumey of New York. My brother Donald("Donnie")was born in 1929 in New Jersey. My family moved to Miami,Fl and I, Patricia ("Patti"), was born in 1944.
I believe Dora married Wm. B. Wadams (West Caldwell),Milton married a Mildred, Minnie married Roman Yoda, Henrietta ("Nell") married Douglas McCullom.Louis married Irene and had a concession on the Wildwood,NJ Boardwalk.I remember a cousin Eddie Ernst of Essex Fells who passed away 1n 1994 and a cousin Barbara. My brother passed away in 2006 and I am the last remaining child of August ("Augie") and Anne. Would love to hear from any and all members of this Ernst Family!
