My ancestor Henry Errett together with his brother Henry arrived in New York from Ireland in 1802.Their father William Errett a British Army officer was killed in the battle of Arklow, Ireland.Henry Died in 1825. Shortly, there after his wife Sophia Kemmesh remarried to Mr, Seuter
and the whole family moved to Saw Mill Run, Pa. I am not not certain if this move wwas the first for this family. AS you pointed out the Erretts volunteered to serve in the union Army some 60 years later. Albert J, Wilson
