My gg-grandfather and his mother and brothers immigrated from Northern Ireland during the potato famine. I visited in Northern Ireland this past summer, but, the immigration records in Belfast were the only reliable records to which I had access. There were too many listings for George, John and Robert Erwin, all familiar names in Ireland. In reading the Northern Ireland phone directory, I saw many listings for Erwin families. I am wondering if anyone in Northern Ireland could possibly be looking for a Robert, George or
John Erwin, who immigrated to the United States in the 1840's -1850's. I believe that their home was near Londonderry. Could you name a location of a cemetery in that country, which has several Erwins buried there.
