Hello - I just found your post when I googled my father's name - He was Donald Rowland Esaias, grandson of Richard Esaias and Jane Lloyd Jones. His father was Richard Jr and mother Lovell Patience (Mitchell) Esaias. I do not have the specific information you are asking for. I do have copy of the Memoirs of John Rowland Esaias (1970) and a postcard John Rowland set my grandmother in 1956 from Trehelig, Llansawel, Wales in 1956 showing the house where Jane Lloyd Jones was born. Are you family?

I am looking for information on an Esaias family.
The matriarch of my family is Joan Esaias (b1771) who had children: Margaret (b @1816), James (b @ 1811), Thomas (b @1816).
Margaret had children (all using her maiden name): Joan (b1841), Esaias (b1843) and Mary (b1847).
In 1841 they lived in Neath, Glamorgan.
In 1851 they lived in Kenfig Down, Glamorgan.
Joan (b1841) in census says miners daughter, later in life gave her father's name as Thomas Pascoe.

I am looking for info on the parents and/or siblings of Richard Esaias, born in 1856, Cwn Bach, Glamorganshire, Wales. He married Jane Lloyd Jones, and had seven children, Thomas, Evor, John Rowland, Mary, Dewey, Richard Jr., and William. He died in 1944.
