Hi again Eva,
I forgot to tell you what I have on the KROEKERS. My grandmother was Helena. Her parents Jacob Kroeker and Anna Worms/Wurms
came to the US in 1876 They left Antwerp Belgium aboard the ship Vanderland and arrived Philadelphia 7/28/1876 The two older children Agatha and Jacob were born in South Russia, but the others were born in the USII have a copy of the naturalization papers greatgranddad Kroeker filled out but he never (to my knowledge) went through with the paperwork to became a citizen. I have a copy of Anna Wurms death certificate. She is buried in the College View, NE Cemetery.
Dale and I are working to find additional information I was given a copy of Anna Kroekers Suderman's daughter Anna's memoirs. She and her sister Elizabeth were Mennonite missionaries. Elizabeth was in Africa and Anna in India. The Kroekers were from the Molotschna Colony in South Russia. That is now in the Ukraine.
I also have the genealogical paperwork on the Dahlkes. Anna Dahlke was the wife of greatgranddad Jacob Esau. They lived first in Hampton, Hamilton Co.,NE and then College View . The older children were born there including my father. The younger ones were born on the farm in Petersburg.
