I haven't been able to find that information either. My grandfather's name is Gilberto Escobedo Paz, born 1914 in Saltillo, Coahuila. His father was José María Escobedo González, born 1888 in San Pedro de las Colinas, Coahuila. His parents were Delfina González and Gilberto Escobedo (they got married 1885 in Matamoros).

It is believed in my family that we are direct descendents of Gen. Mariano Escobedo. If that is correct, Gilberto should be Mariano's son. All I know for sure is that the General had at least 3 sons: Mariano Escobedo "Jr.", Doña María Guadalupe Escobedo de Garduño, and Doña María Escobedo de Serrato. I have also heard (but have not been able to confirm)of Aniceto, Genaro, Andrés, and Tranquilino Escobedo.

Any info on Mariano's sons would be greatly appreciated!
