      <description>I too am researching my husbands family tree.There is a Alexander Horne Eskdale that married  Margaret McGhee in 1926.There were 4 children that we knew of but maybe more?&lt;br&gt;We have a William, not a Jack but is that the same name?&lt;br&gt;Daughter May, had 3 children.&lt;br&gt;Could it be same person?</description>

      <description>Hello&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I'm looking for an eskdale, too.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Alexander Eskdale is my wife's grandfather. He lived in Glasgow Scotland, in Hutchesontown. He had Four children, James, John, William, May&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;James had a daughter, Ann&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;William had two daughters, Joyce and Elaine</description>

      <description>sorry not sure of any one directly who emigrated to canada, but the names definatley low land scots and there is a whole district with the name eskdale, &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;which i found was from the scandinavian vikings collonising that part of scotland 13-14th century</description>
